Maple Crossi näol on tegu juba 1985. aastal (ehk enam-vähem ühel ajal koos Stone´iga) tegutsemist alustanud Soome thrashi-veteranidega. Bänd andis 1991 välja oma esikalbumi “The Eight Day Of Creation”, veetis siis aastaid varjusurmas ning tuli taas kokku uue sajandi hakul. “Next Chapter” ongi Maple Crossi teine stuudioalbum, stiilis vana hea thrash vähe modernsemas kastmes.
